Privacy notice
Plain language, no small print games. This page explains what the enquiry form collects and what happens to it.
Note: this text is a working draft. The final privacy wording should be reviewed by the business, and if necessary by a legal adviser, before launch.
What the enquiry form collects
The enquiry form collects the details you type into it: the service you need, your relationship to the property, the property location including Eircode, property and access information, job details for the relevant service, your preferred timing and site visit slot, an approximate budget, your name, mobile number, optional email address, preferred contact method and any notes you add.
The form does not collect payment details and does not upload photographs. Nothing is stored on this website and no account is created.
How the information is used
The information is used only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out the work, and to keep in contact about that job. Mavex Constructions does not sell your details and does not pass them to third parties for marketing.
What happens when you continue to WhatsApp
When you press the final button, the details you entered are assembled into a message and WhatsApp opens with that message prepared. Nothing is sent until you tap Send inside WhatsApp.
Once you send it, the message and your WhatsApp phone number are handled inside WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy terms and its own processing of your data, which are outside our control. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can call or email instead.
Consent
The consent checkbox on the form covers one thing only: permission to contact you about the enquiry you submitted. No marketing consent is bundled into it, and you are not added to any mailing list.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept for as long as it is needed to quote, complete and stand behind the work, and to meet tax and record-keeping obligations. After that it is deleted.
Requesting a copy or deletion
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Email mavexconstructions@gmail.com with your request and, where relevant, the enquiry reference beginning "MX-". Deleting a WhatsApp conversation on your own device does not remove it from ours, so please ask if you want it removed.
